Destination Covered: Delhi – Chandigarh- Amritsar - Dharamshala - Manali - Shimla

Tour Overview: This tour takes you away from city noise and pollution. It takes you close to nature, to the most beautiful hill stations in India. Relax yourself on this tour.

Day 01: Arrival Delhi Airport & Transfer to Hotel:

You will be met upon your arrival at Delhi airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight Delhi.

Day 02: New and Old Delhi Sightseeing:

After breakfast at 9AM you will follow the local sightseeing of Delhi, where a empire rose and fell before the dawn of history where citadels of emperors appeared and disappeared; a city of mysterious eternity whose old ruins proclaim a majestic and imperial past and whose present pulsates vibrantly with the ever flowing life of India. You will first head to Old Delhi, places you will visit; Jama Masjid, Rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk Bazaar, Spice market and Raj Ghat. After lunch go to visit New Delhi, places you will visit; India Gate, Parliament House, President’s House, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar. Overnight Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi – Chandigarh: (5 Hours Drive)

After breakfast checkout hotel and drive to Chandigarh. Arrival Chandigarh and check inn hotel. Places you will visit; Rock garden, Rose garden and Sukhna Lake. Overnight Chandigarh.

Day 04: Chandigarh – Amritsar: (4 Hours Drive)

Morning after breakfast we move for Amritsar. Arrival Amritsar and check inn hotel. Later go to visit; Jallian Wala Bagh,Wagah Border and Golden Temple. History of Amritsar is really fascinating. The city has been famous for puissant Sikhs and has legends attached to it. According to the legend, when the fourth Guru of the Sikhs Guru Ram Das heard about the healing powers of the pool, he ordered his son Guru Arjan Dev to erect a temple at the site. Overnight Amritsar.

Day 05: Amritsar – Dharamshala: (5 Hours Drive)

After breakfast checkout hotel and drive to Dharamshala. On arrival Dharamshala check in hotel and relax for the day. Founded by the British between 1815 and 1847, Dharamshala remained a low-profile hill town till the influx of Tibetan refugees along with the Dalai Lama since October 1959. India welcomed the religious leader and offered him and his people sanctuary and a place to stay in Dharmashala. Overnight Dharamshala.

Day 06: Dharamshala Sightseeing:

After breakfast start the sightseeing of dharamshala. Places you will visit; St. John in the Wilderness: A stone church with delicate stained glass windows and a memorial to Lord Elgin. Dal Lake: A popular picnic spot surrounded by forests of fir. An annual fair is held here, every September. Bhagsunath: Close to Dal lake is the shrine of Bhagsunath, an easy walk from the Macleodganj Bazzar. There is a pretty waterfall not far away. Overnight Dharamshala.

Day 07: Dharamshala - Manali (8 Hours Drive)

After breakfast we move for Manali. Arrival manali and check inn hotel. Manali's 'history' is really more myth than history. According to Hindu mythology, Manali was the home of the lawgiver Manu (after whom the town is named). Legend has it that when a flood deluged the earth, Manu and the gods were towed to dry ground by a giant fish.Overnight Manali.

Day 08: Manali Sightseeing Tour:

After breakfast start the sightseeing of Manali. Places you will visit; Hadimba Temple: Manali has many attractions but the chief centre of interest, historically and archaeologically, is undoubtedly the Hadimba Temple. Manu Temple: 3KM from the main bazaar in old Manali lies the temple of Manu Rishi. Vashist Hot Water Springs and Temple (3 kms): Vashist, a small village located on the left bank of river Beas towards Rohtang pass is worth a visit. It is renowned for its hot springs and temples. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashist Muni. Rohtang Pass: It is a high mountain pass on the eastern range of Himalayas. Rohtang Pass closed in Winters. It opens between June to October. As per union law only Manali local vehicles can take you to Rohtang Pass. No outside cars are allowed to go to Rohtang Pass. Overnight Manali.

Day 09: Manali – Shimla: (8 Hours Drive)

After breakfast we move for Shimla. Arrival Shimla and check inn hotel. Way back in 1817, a small village tucked away in the Himalayas was discovered by British surveyors and pronounced an ideal retreat for the homesick colonizers. Overnight Shimla.

Day 10: Shimla Sightseeing Tour:

After breakfast start the sightseeing of Shimla. Places to see around Shimla include- The Ridge, Christ Church, Jakhoo Hindu temple, Mashobra, Naldehra and Tattapani. Overnight Shimla.

Day 11: Shimla – Delhi: (8 Hours Drive)

After breakfast checkout hotel and drive to Delhi. Arrival Delhi and check inn hotel Overnight Delhi.

Day 12: Departure at Delhi Airport:

After breakfast checkout hotel and departure at Delhi Airport.
